Roger G. Clarke, Ph.D.,

 |
Roger Clarke is responsible for directing the development of the firm’s investment strategies and research agenda. Recognized as an authority with more than 20 years experience in quantitative investment research, Roger has authored numerous articles and papers including two tutorials for the CFA Institute. He has served as a member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Portfolio Management and the Financial Analysts Journal. He also served on the faculty of Brigham Young University for eight years where he specialized in investment and options theory and continues to lecture as a guest professor. He concurrently serves as President of a non-profit organization. Roger received a Ph.D. in Finance and a MS degree in Economics from Stanford University as well as MBA and BA degrees in Physics from Brigham Young University. |

Harindra de Silva, Ph.D., CFA,

 |
Harindra (“Harin”) de Silva is responsible for the firm’s strategic direction and the ongoing development of its investment processes. As a portfolio manager, Harin focuses on the ongoing research effort for equity and global asset allocation strategies.
Harin has authored several articles and studies on finance-related topics including stock market anomalies, market volatility and asset valuation. Prior to joining Analytic Investors, he was a Principal at Analysis Group, Inc., where he was responsible for providing economic research services to institutional investors including investment managers, large pension funds, and endowments. This included the development of quantitative equity strategies and econometric models for use in asset allocation strategies.
Harin received a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of California, Irvine. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, an MBA in Finance and a MS in Economic Forecasting from the University of Rochester.
He is a member of Association for Investment Management and Research, the American Finance Association, and the International Association of Financial Analysts. |

As Chief Investment Officer, Greg McMurran oversees the implementation of the firm’s investment strategies. He is a major contributor to the firm’s ongoing research efforts as well as new product development and strategy applications. As a portfolio manager, Greg focuses on day-to-day portfolio management and research related to derivatives-based investment strategies. With 30 years of quantitative research, portfolio management and trading experience, Greg has an extensive background in managing quantitative investment portfolios. Greg is also recognized as an authority on options valuation and strategies and has authored several articles. Greg received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Irvine and a MA in Economics at California State University, Fullerton. |

Marie Nastasi Arlt,

Marie Arlt is responsible for defining, planning and implementing the strategic initiatives of the firm, as well as management of the critical aspects of the firm’s day-to-day operations. From administrative matters to organizational development, Marie leads the business management side of Analytic, helping posture the burgeoning firm for continued success. Her broad-based experience and strong communications skill set distinguish her contribution to the firm. She has been instrumental in helping the firm successfully manage its growth and sustain its competitive position, while ensuring the highest standards of service for its institutional clients. Marie received a BA in Communications from California State University, Fullerton. |

As Chief Investment Officer, Dennis Bein oversees the implementation of the firm’s investment strategies. As a portfolio manager, Dennis focuses on day-to-day portfolio management and research related to equity-based investment strategies. Prior to joining Analytic Investors, Dennis was a Senior Consultant for Analysis Group, Inc., where he provided investment consulting services for institutional investors and plan sponsors. He advised pension fund managers on topics such as investment objective definition, asset allocation analysis, manager selection and manager performance evaluation. Dennis received an MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Riverside. He completed his undergraduate studies in Business Administration at the University of California, Riverside. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts (ICFA) and the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts (LASFA). |

Scott Barker is a Portfolio Manager responsible for the ongoing research and development of derivatives and options-based strategies as well as the day-to-day portfolio management and trading of such accounts. Prior to joining the firm, Scott served as Research Analyst for Analysis Group, Inc. where he provided investment consulting services for institutional investors and plan sponsors. These services included conducting performance measurement, equity attribution, portfolio characteristic analyses, and asset allocation strategies. Scott also worked previously at XonTech, Inc. where he developed mathematical models for remote sensor systems and accompanying signal processing software. Scott, a Chartered Financial Analyst, received a BA in Physics from Pomona College, and a MS in Mathematics from California State University, Long Beach. |

Robert (“Bob”) Murdock is responsible for the ongoing research and development of global asset allocation investment strategies, as well as the day-to-day management and trading of such accounts. Prior to joining the firm, Bob was a researcher specializing in international trade policy for the Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles. He also worked at State Street Bank & Trust in Boston as an investment analyst and as a research economist for the Bonneville Power Administration. Bob has a Ph.D. in international finance and economics from UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management; MBA in Finance from The Tuck School at Dartmouth College; MA in Economics from University of Pennsylvania and BS in Economics/Mathematics from the University of Wyoming. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst. |

As a portfolio manager on the equity team, Steve Sapra is responsible for the ongoing research effort for U.S. equity-based investment strategies as well as the day-to-day portfolio management and trading of such accounts. Prior to joining Analytic Investors, Steve was employed as a Senior Consultant at BARRA, Inc. in Berkeley, CA. He consulted with investment managers in the areas of risk control and strategy implementation. Steve has published papers in The Financial Analysts Journal, The Journal of Portfolio Management, and The Journal of Sports Economics. Steve, a Chartered Financial Analyst, received an MA in Economics from the University of Southern California and a BA in Economics from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Steve is currently writing his PhD dissertation in the area of behavioral finance. |

Brian Haskin is responsible for the management of the firm’s sales, marketing and client relations teams as well as for the strategic development of the firm’s marketing activities.
Brian has had extensive experience in building and managing sales, marketing and client service teams within the U.S. market as well as in several overseas markets. Prior to joining Analytic Investors, the majority of his career was spent at Barclays Global Investors, where he held a number of senior management and business development positions in the U.S., Australia and Hong Kong. He has also held senior business development positions in the U.S. at Deutsche Asset Management and Wilshire Associates. Brian received an MBA with Honors in Finance and Marketing from the University of Chicago and a BS in Business Administration/Accounting from the University of Southern California. |

Mark Arredondo, CPA,

Mark Arredondo is responsible for managing the operations, systems, and performance measurement functions of the firm. Prior to joining Analytic, Mark held positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of investment management systems consulting, operations/compliance consulting and information technology. He most recently worked at InvestTech Systems Consulting as a senior consultant working with investment firms to improve operational efficiencies. Some of his recent projects included implementing a new Charles River Trade Order Management System and a SAS70 pre-audit preparation analysis. The bulk of Mark's experience was with First Quadrant in Pasadena, where his responsibilities included roles in the systems/networking group, the business systems operations group, and the in-house development team. Mark started his career in the audit/accounting field working at Coopers & Lybrand, L.P. in the systems area and subsequently as a business systems consultant at Arthur Andersen, L.P. Mark holds a BA in Economnics and Accounting from Claremont McKenna College. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

David Krider is a Portfolio Manager responsible for the ongoing research and development of global equity-based investment strategies as well as the day-to-day trading of global portfolios.
Prior to joining the firm, David was founder and Chief Technology Officer of Visualize, Inc., a firm that specializes in financial visualization and analytic software. He was a Research Associate at First Quadrant before leaving to start his own firm. David received a BS in Economics and Computer Science from the California Institute of Technology.
