Marie Nastasi Arlt, Chief Operating Officer
Marie Arlt is responsible for defining, planning and implementing the strategic initiatives of the firm, as well as management of the critical aspects of the firm's day-to-day operations. From administrative matters to organizational development, Marie leads the business management side of Analytic, helping posture the burgeoning firm for continued success. Her broad-based experience and strong communications skill set distinguish her contribution to the firm. She has been instrumental in helping the firm successfully manage its growth and sustain its competitive position, while ensuring the highest standards of service for its institutional clients. Marie received a BA in Communications from California State University, Fullerton. She also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Mark Arredondo, Director, Information Technology
Mark Arredondo is responsible for managing the firm's information technology and systems. Prior to joining Analytic, Mark held positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of investment management systems consulting, operations/compliance consulting and information technology. He most recently worked at InvestTech Systems Consulting as a senior consultant working with investment firms to improve operational efficiencies. Some of his recent projects included implementing a new Charles River Trade Order Management System and a SAS70 pre-audit preparation analysis. The bulk of Mark's experience was with First Quadrant in Pasadena, where his responsibilities included roles in the systems/networking group, the business systems operations group, and the in-house development team. Mark started his career in the audit/accounting field working at Coopers & Lybrand, L.P. in the systems area and subsequently as a business systems consultant at Arthur Andersen, L.P. Mark holds a BA in Economnics and Accounting from Claremont McKenna College. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
Dennis Roy, Director, Operations
Dennis Roy is responsible for the firm's operations, including trade settlements, portfolio accounting and performance measurement. Dennis' strengths are in the areas of management, operational development and process improvement. With more than 25 years in the investment management field, Dennis has held positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of operations and compliance in large and small firms. Most recently, he was responsible for establishing the operations and compliance functions for a company in San Diego that was in start-up mode. Dennis then managed the operations function to assure its functionality would support the corporate growth objectives. He earned an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix and graduated cum laude with a B.S. degree in Finance from Suffolk University.
Mike Brogan, Director, Finance and Legal
Mike Brogan is responsible for the firm's securities and corporate law functions as well as various risk management, operational and strategic planning matters. He also oversees the firm's non-portfolio management finance functions. Mike began his investment career in the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities division of Goldman Sachs. Prior to joining Analytic, Mike was an associate at Latham & Watkins, LLP specializing in the representation of Asset Managers. Mike is admitted to the State Bar of New York and the State Bar of California. He received a J.D. from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a B.A. in Journalism/Political Science from the University of Iowa.
Kathi Dutton, Director, Human Resources
Kathi Dutton is responsible for managing the firm's human resources. With more than 20 years of experience in human resources, Kathi has held positions of increasing responsibilities for both small and large companies. Prior to joining Analytic, Kathi worked at a broker-dealer, FutureTrade Technologies, where she acted as the Director, Human Resources and Administration managing the firm's employee relations, recruitment, benefits and overall administration. Kathi graduated summa cum laude with her B.S. in Business Administration and Human Resources from Colorado Technical University. She also has her Human Resources (PHR) certification.
Amy Stueve, Chief Compliance Officer
Amy Stueve is Chief Compliance Officer of Analytic Investors and is responsible for the general supervision, direction and control of the firm's compliance program, as well as oversight and administration of Analytic's compliance policies and procedures. As Chief Compliance Officer, Amy chairs the firm's Compliance Committee and reports to the Board of Directors of Analytic. Amy previously served in a variety of related functions with Analytic's predecessor firm, TSA Capital Management. Amy received a B.A. in Political Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
